shinglj Posted March 6, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 6, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) The X1 should be an excellent tool for shooting panoramas .I have not yet been able to test the panorama capabilities of my X1 yet as 7 weeks after I purchased it brand new the local repairer is still waiting for parts from Germany to fix it ( shame on you Leica) .Nonetheless I have just posted some of my personal panoramas of Paris and some notes on shooting panoramas on compact cameras on my blogsite The Rolling Road I have also included a link to the amazing Paris -26 gigapixels site which presents a panorama of Paris stitched from 2346 photos . A must see for any photoenthusiast . shinglj Lots of Leicas and Canons .Always travel light .
Advertisement Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Hi shinglj, Take a look here Panoramas. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Mr_Jones Posted March 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 6, 2011 It is a great camera for shooting panoramas, I've had great success with it on several trips. It's difficult to share the results here with the limitations on photo width, maybe why you don't see many on the forum.
ChiILX1 Posted March 11, 2011 Share #3 Posted March 11, 2011 This would be perfect for X1 panos: Utility Journal: The Perfect Pano But they just recently discontinued it. Probably because it was $25 and no one bought it (I wanted to buy it but I couldn't bring myself to do it at $25 for as little as I do panos).
