menos I M6 Posted March 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just placed my first order to BH and wanted, to buy some film as well. Only when checking out, did I see a red "USA" placed under and before the film item, whcih I assumed, I could buy this item only within the US. Is this correct? Did anyone order film from BH from abroad?

tgray Posted March 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 3, 2011 I know some folks on APUG order from B&H and ship it to Australia. So it can be done. I don't know what hoops they have to jump through though.

menos I M6 Posted March 3, 2011 Author Share #8 Posted March 3, 2011 Nice - I used the Live Chat, to get in touch with BH now and got my order changed with film delivered my way ;-) For the people, who might wonder - the red "USA" and "USA" marking under and in front of the article is a description of the designated market for the described product. There are also products, that are "imported" and therefore sold at a lower price than the "USA" marked product. In any case, if the film finds it's way here, it is to a slightly lower cost/ roll, than what is available here in Shanghai and I don't have to search, to pick up stock in Shanghai (three shops and I could find only ONE roll of TX400 ???? - usually these three shops are stocked with TX400 - strange). thrid Posted March 7, 2011 Share #9 Posted March 7, 2011 B&H is sometimes closed for various holidays. In a pinch you could give Freestyle a try. They will also ship international. Freestyle Photographic Supplies - Traditional Black & White Film, Paper, Chemicals, Holgas and ULF Their Arista Premium 400 is rebranded Tri-X and sells for considerably less than the Kodak original.
