pauledell Posted January 28, 2011 Share #5 Posted January 28, 2011 A nice set. These shots are very good and certainly indicate a fine lens. The one you have with the strange flair is a mystery to me. Paul
k-hawinkler Posted January 29, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted January 29, 2011 Paul, Many thanks for your kind feedback. I now believe this particular lens are serious issues that I described a little bit here http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/1593646-post95.html. Best, K-H. ldhrads Posted January 29, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 29, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) K-H Nice shots, I see the problem you are talking about in you other posts. I haven't shot my lens fully closed down, I just posted a few shots on this forum today. Mines an early version III and it'll take some getting used to but seems it'll be worth it. I'd like to see the outcome a little sharper, but It may be my eyes arather than the lens!
k-hawinkler Posted January 29, 2011 Author Share #8 Posted January 29, 2011 Lawrence, Thanks. I looked at your post and recognize my lens behaving similarly in need of adding contrast in post processing. I just sent the lens in to have it checked out by an excellent technician. Good luck with your lens. Best, K-H.
