This is a mixed (e)motion that push me to post this thread, it was originaly posted by Philippe D.(member of L-camera forum) on the summilux.net forum where he was an active member.

Philippe passed away after two day of deep sicking on May 11th 2010.

I was reading his last posts and found this one.

The guys named in the title were in Viet Nam as War Reporters in the same time I was under duties 1967-1970 and I was following, especially Burrows & Huet, every week, works, printed in different magazines, until that day.

The M3 camera had been sold by Leitz London retail outlet on July 7, 1960 ....Burrow was customer of the Leica outlet, and only he, among the four, was in London in July 1960...;)

Yes, on the National Press Photographers Association article the legend for the picture taken by Ronen Zilberman says :

"the serial number on the top of a battered Leica found at the crash site in Laos indicates the camera belonged to Larry Burrows of Life Magazine"
