That's exactly what the license of Photoshop and Lightroom allows.

Not only that, but with CS5 the keys will work on both Mac or Windows machines - Lightroom has always (as far as I can recall) used the same key for Mac and Windows.

I don't think so. You can install Adobe on two computers and that is it. Other installations have to be activated by deactivating one of the other two machines. I believe, you can only do that about 30 times. Isn't that right?

That was certainly the case a few years ago with CS3 and I think the limit was 20 times. For a period of time I was using any one of 3 Macs and was regularly deactivating and reactivating the CS suite. I was somewhat surprised when I encountered the limit and had to call Adobe. The software was 'unlocked' by customer services but only for a further 5 activation/deactivation cycles.

I don't know about CS5 (still using CS4) but Lightroom 3 can be installed on multiple computers without needing activation.

Hi,

I upgraded PSCS3 to 5 just before Christmas when I got my new iMac and I received two keys - one for Mac and one for Windows, each of which, as I understand it, can be installed on 2 machines. I had a conversation with Adobe about this as my original online upgrade purchase was mashed by my credit card company and I had to revive it by phone. They seemed quite relaxed about it, especially now that activation is automatic.

Tim
