Kyler. Posted December 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have heard of and seen a few people who have the mp shutter advance on there m6's which I think is a nice touch. I much prefer the Mp shutter advance for several reasons and was wondering how I would go about getting the mp advance on my m6. Thanks, Kyle

doubice Posted December 29, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2010 Kyle, I am one of those who prefers the older style all-metal advance lever and have it on my M6. I bought the lever about 9 years ago, from a seller on eBay; unfortunately he is not active there anymore. Those levers are still available from Leica - why don't you give them a call? Kyler. Posted December 29, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted December 29, 2010 Thanks Jan! I will certainly give leica a call. Another thing that i just realized is that I have a titanium edition m6. Do they make the all metal advance lever in titanium finish? Thanks, Kyle

Do they make the all metal advance lever in titanium finish? Thanks, Kyle ...Kyle, there was a Japan-only, limited edition, titanium (not "titanium-finished") MP a while back - I think it was 2006 or 2007. So if you are polite and patient, Leica just might be able to accommodate your wish - for a price. Brace yourself.
Kyler. Posted December 30, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted December 30, 2010 That sounds expensive...
aesop Posted December 30, 2010 Share #6 Posted December 30, 2010 That sounds expensive... ...I fear you may be correct, Kyle - my advice, for what it's worth, is to stick with your current set-up.
