Unfortuneately, I am too late for the rebate deal they offered a short time ago. A new printer will cost $1129 (with free shipping) from B&H Photo, or I can buy a refurbished unit from Epson for $949 (with freee shipping). Is it possible that a refurbished unit would receive more careful attention to build and alignment than a standard production one, or is this wishful thinking and cost rationaization? Has anyone here purchased a refurbished printer from Epson, and what has been your experience with it? I am also looking opinions and recommendation from others.
