wildlightphoto Posted December 26, 2010 Share #1  Posted December 26, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The persimmon trees in the orchard across the street attract Cedar Waxwings for only a few days each year, and Friday happened to be one of those days. For about an hour I ditched my assigned holiday preparation chores for some photos:   R8/DMR 280mm f/4 APO & 1.4x APO-Extender-R Shoulder stock & monopod  All comments welcome. imported_peter_m Posted January 5, 2011 Share #9 Â Posted January 5, 2011 Nice one Doug, Â They are sure some interesting birds, they do come and raid my Saskatoon bushes twice a year, late in the fall and then early spring. Flocks of them hang out for a few days and then they are gone again. Â Peter
