delander † Posted December 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) As a user of Capture 1 ver 5 (not pro) I'm wondering whether anyone has 'upgraded' to ver 6 Express. I downloaded the instruction manual and from a quick look it seems that some of the features in ver 5 are omitted in ver 6 Express. Particularly I noticed that adjustments on curves and levels have been omitted from ver6 Express. I use these adjustments quite often in ver5 and I'm not inclined to purchase the Pro version to get these capabilities as I already have Lightroom and PSCS5. Although I prefer using Capture 1 it seems that for me ver5 will be the last version. It is interesting marketing from Phase, they have forced me to reconsider Capture1 and probably just go over to Lightroom or Photoshop for the future.
