Discomonkey Posted December 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Something about my camera has always bothered me and I was just wondering if this is normal behaviour or if its something I should have fixed. On my Digilux 3, some of the menu settings automatically resets to defaults when I turn the camera off and back on. For example, the Custom Function 2 button resets to Exposure Compensation, the ISO resets to 100, the AE/AF lock resets to AE/AF. Is this suppose to happen? Somehow I don't think this is normal but would like to hear from other Digilux owners. Thanks, Mike

ziggurat Posted December 15, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 15, 2010 Hi Disco, Once I'd set my Dig 3 up the way I liked it it's been the same ever since. Cheers Johnny
hpu Posted December 15, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 15, 2010 Hello Mike, Johnny wrote: "Once I'd set my Dig 3 up the way I liked it it's been the same ever since." Mine is like Johnny's, never had any of those problems like you wrote. Did you select the required item end close then with the SET button???
Discomonkey Posted December 15, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted December 15, 2010 Thanks for the replies, I figured it out. I had unknowingly switched it to a "Custom Set" rather than the "Normal" set, so every time I turned off the camera and turned it back on, it went back to the settings in Custom Set 1. Now it's back on Normal and the camera retains all the settings.
