As you know, since the M6, Leica has put two sets of frame lines in each of the three positions of the frame preview lever. In the M8, the 24mm frame replaces the 135 as the accompaniment to the 35 frame. It would have been nearly impossible to give the M8 a 135 frame since the 135mm lens on the M8 has the field of view of a 180 on full-frame.
