kully Posted November 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, last Friday the M8 was sent back for Leica to sort out the vertical line at higher ISOs issue. I left it until the very end of the warranty as I knew it would be with them for a while. As much as I have grumbled about the thing, I'm missing having it in my bag. I've dusted off an M2 and Rolleiflex in the meantime, perhaps I will have finished off my stockpile of film before it comes back.

It is my option that this line problem will be covered even if the unit is out of warranty. It is such a wide spread problem with M8's.
ramosa Posted December 1, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 1, 2010 well, at least you have an M2 to turn to. if i was without my M8, i'd be without a camera and pondering some sort of g1/gh1/gf1 stand in. (actually, i should already have a camera like that as a back up.)
