bashers Posted November 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been looking around at different cameras and the Leica M series caught my eye. However they are very expensive. Are there any lense adapters for Leica lenses for a Minolta Maxxum 7000. I have a Minolta Maxxum and they take AF lenses; are there any Leica adapters for it? Any information would suffice.

giordano Posted November 30, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 30, 2010 No, it's not possible to adapt Leica M lenses to Minolta (or any other) SLR cameras. SLR camera bodies are much thicker than rangefinder bodies to make room for the mirror, and if an M lens was fitted to an SLR it could only focus at very close distances. bill Posted November 30, 2010 Share #3 Posted November 30, 2010 In any event, Leica to my certain knowledge has never made a lense...
