Rangefinder adjust costs Netherlands

Hi,

My M8 is back or frontfocussing badly ad objects further away. So I think it needs to be adjusted (when I focus to a subject far away, I can not get it properly in focus. The focus indicator stops before. So I can't get for example the moon in focus)

Strange thing is my 28 biogon (I bought the M8 together with this lens) works flawless on the camera, but al my new leica and zeiss lenses don't. Only at short distance they are spot on..

Since its a older body, I don't have any warrenty left (3 years old) so I have to pay for it.

The leica distributer in Holland sent me to a repaircenter for camera's, but got an email from them they send the camera to Solms, with takes 3 to 4 weeks, and have no idea how much its going to costs.

I am selling the last zeiss lenses this week so I only have leica lenses left. So I could sent them all together to Soms to get them work flawless on the m8.

But what at what costs... And 3 to 4 weeks means I don't have the camera during Christmas....

Another option is Will van Maanen, A repairguy with a good reputation. Takes 1 week and costs 75 euro without VAT for the body, and 50 euro extra per lens.

The 75 euro I don't have any problems with, but the lenses are only 2 weeks old and I don't want to pay for them since they are in warranty.

So if he finds out the lenses are not okey, I still need to send them to Solms...

(btw, I don't think there is something wrong with the lenses since all new lenses act the same)

Does someone have experience with rangefinder adjustment? How does it work in Solms and at what costs?

Experience with long time camera missing, of can it be done quickly?

And what would you do? Sending it to leica, or to a local repairguy? 3 to 4 weeks vs 1 week..?

I would let Wil van Manen adjust the infinity on the camera only and then try out the lenses.

My M9 was back focusing out of the box and the rangefinder image was stopping before merging when lens was at infinity and looking at the moon and the hilversum TV mast at 4 km.

Also the camera was back focusing with all lenses at all distances so I figured it was only the infinity adustment of the wheel and did it myself. Now all lenses including 90mm and summilux 50 focus perfectly.
