Guest dk_samurai Posted November 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Quick curiosity question: Are there any M6's with the "dimpled" film pressure plate around? When did Leica start using the dimpled type pressure plates (as opposed to the flat one's)? I've seen them on MP's and M7's, but not on M6's. Does this mean that Leica didn't introduce dimpled pressure plates until the MP & M7? By then infrared photography was also vanishing, I guess. Xmas Posted November 20, 2010 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2010 Hi David I'd wait until some of our members chimed in before being too confident about a # change over point. But some IR film still is available today, e.g. http://www.ilfordphoto.com/Webfiles/2007651134552223.pdf & £... Silverprint - Store Don't know these would be upset by dimples.
