tacomadm18 Posted November 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm new to this forum and camera, it seems to fit the bill as being the right size to carry almost everywhere I go, both in the vehicle and walking and being able to take great photos from what I can tell. So here is what I ended up doing: * added the leica grip, love it,,,,, * external leica flash * class 10 SD cards * second battery,,,, don't want to run out of power at the wrong time,, * I got the Giotto SP8300 screen protector, not a perfect fit, but very very close,,, * I then add the the Delkin 3.0 shade protect that mounts like a glove to the Giotto, the shade part will just un-clip from the small frame if you want to remove it for any reason. Used it this weekend and loved it.... * Then added a rubber Zeikos lens hood that looks like it was made for the d-lux-5,,, It slips right on and I use a very small tie wrap or custom piece of velcro to keep it from sliding off. You still have access to the aspect ratio and AF/MF ring..... * I like the Lowepro Clips 110 case, small enough, but big enough to hold the extra items.
