viramati Posted November 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Was wondering what peoples settings for a preset would be for high iso noise reduction and IQ in images at 2500,1600,1250 in LR3.2. I see there is some talk of this over in the M9 forum at the moment but would be interested to hear of your exact slider positions etc. Thanks
Advertisement Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Hi viramati, Take a look here LR3 preset, high iso, M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
animefx Posted November 8, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 8, 2010 I've used LR3 a little and I like the improved noise reduction, however I'm not sure what all of the sliders do in the noise reduction section besides luminance and chrominance (color) Sharpness in the noise reduction section is a misnomer to me... If using noise reduction decreases the sharpness then increase the Sharpness... there is a seperate sharpness too just for that. Why have a 2nd sharpness slider in noise reduction? If there is any real difference someone please let me know.
