There is a lot of Leica Service-bashing on this forum,

myself included .

 

I just feel that I should commend Leica when they offer good service too. After my camera was sent in with a pink edge and missing lens release button, see the link above, they decided(although after much ado) to send me a brand new camera.

They ALSO sent me a loaner to use in the roughly 6 weeks it took for the whole process.

 

So - hat off to Leica this time.

 

They did not have to do so, they were probably fully within their legal right to repair my old and send it back to me. However, I am very grateful that they did, nobody wants a product they feel is a lemon, justified or not.
