lexlace Posted October 26, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Looking for HD video samples from the Leica V-LUX 2, seen a few of the pan FZ100 and they seem to look great in good light. Does anyone know if the V-LUX 2 shoots the same HD video quality as the FZ100?
Advertisement Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Hi lexlace, Take a look here Video Quality of Leica V-LUX 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ho_co Posted November 2, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 2, 2010 Welcome to the Forum! The camera is so new, not many people may have experience with it, but this is the place to find them! I can't answer directly, Lex, but isn't this the camera where Panasonic's uses AVCHD Lite, but the Leica uses QuickTime instead? I think I remember one of the reviews commenting that Leica knew their customers and used a simpler video system since Leica users are more interested in stills. May be wrong. And the US Panasonic web site is a real mess when you try to figure out things like this. But the first thing I'd do is compare the specs between the Panasonics and the V-Lux 2.
