The small channels, the water left in them, the reflections off the sand all contribute to an image. There's something very tactile about mud in this kind of shot that adds depth. It would have been nice to have had a boat against the harbour wall on the left, but given that you only had what was available I think this is excellent. And so much better for being in b&w IMHO.
