Firesuite Posted October 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 19, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I received a Voigtlander 35mm OVF yesterday and noticed last night that one of the elements inside looks to be out of place, if you move back from the viewfinder a little and look through it you can see an element in there that reflects back at the user but with a rectangle in the middle of it cut out (the reflection coating not the glass) my problem is mine doesn't seem to sit in line with the bright lines and general camera framing, mine is rotated about 20 degrees to the left, this in turn casts a shadow over two corners of the frame when using it. I am going to call up for an RMA today but just wanted to ask any other voigtlander users if this is normal or not before i do. Many thanks.
