ravinj Posted October 17, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 17, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) This has happened to me twice: X1 goes in power save mode and then does not respond. Pressed shutter, switched it off and on and it is still dead. I had to take out the battery and reinsert it and then it works again. Not too concerned at this point, but any Ideas? Advertisement Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hi ravinj, Take a look here Anyone encounter X1 "hung" after sleep mode?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
RockyIII Posted October 17, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 17, 2010 I have not experienced that problem. Could it be caused by a battery that is low on power and on the verge of needing to be recharged? Rocky

wda Posted October 18, 2010 Share #4 Posted October 18, 2010 Not sure if identical symptoms, but I have had to switch off the camera and switch it on again. This happens occasionally if the camera switch is actuated accidentally while in a soft case or pocket. It is not a problem to me. Just part of the start-up procedure. phancj Posted October 18, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 18, 2010 Ravinj, I think your X1 is on strike coz you've overworked it. After you are done taking pictures with it for the X1 photo challenge, give it a day's break please, it'll thank you for it. CJ
Mr_Jones Posted October 18, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 18, 2010 I've had my x1 hang with the lens extended a couple of times (while switching off), first time in times square resulting in a bit of frustration. Had to remove and replace the battery to fix it but only discovered that a couple of blocks away.
