Anyone encounter X1 "hung" after sleep mode?

This has happened to me twice: X1 goes in power save mode and then does not respond. Pressed shutter, switched it off and on and it is still dead. I had to take out the battery and reinsert it and then it works again.

 

Not too concerned at this point, but any Ideas?

I have not experienced that problem. Could it be caused by a battery that is low on power and on the verge of needing to be recharged?

Hi Rocky - No, the battery was fully charged.

Not sure if identical symptoms, but I have had to switch off the camera and switch it on again. This happens occasionally if the camera switch is actuated accidentally while in a soft case or pocket. It is not a problem to me. Just part of the start-up procedure.

I think your X1 is on strike coz you've overworked it.

 

After you are done taking pictures with it for the X1 photo challenge, give it a day's break please, it'll thank you for it.

I've had my x1 hang with the lens extended a couple of times (while switching off), first time in times square resulting in a bit of frustration. Had to remove and replace the battery to fix it but only discovered that a couple of blocks away.
