I wonder if I am the only one to go from an M9 to an X1. For me, the X1 is the better camera. I don't do sports, action, or night shots. Compared to my former Nikon D700, sure the autofocus is slow, but compared to my former M9 it is much faster. I love the simplicity, light weight, and small size. An investment of under $3,000 for an X1 plus some accessories is much preferable to almost $20,000 for an M9 and several lenses, especially when they all sat on a shelf other than my 35mm Summicron.

...so you found the m9 difficult to auto focus? . Maybe you should have got instructions from your dentist.............

Funny. I hope you know I meant my X1 autofocuses faster than I could manually focus with my M9, zone focusing notwithstanding.
