Guest stanjan0 Posted February 22, 2011 Share #3 Posted February 22, 2011 Why, did we really need such a camera? Does it take better pictures than the standard M9!!! Leica stop wasting your money on such needless stuff. I guess next a gold or platinum M9.
greenhillm Posted March 2, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 2, 2011 I agree with the previous user. This is a pointless introduction. If the camera body was made of Titanium, a strong, light material, it might be interesting. This is merely cosmetic coat, more male jewelery. My halfpennyworth. Michael PS I would be much more impressed if the DIGILUX 2 were upgraded with an increased pixel count, faster image handling and the ability to take storage cards higher than 2GB. Also, I can't see why the viewfinder could not be direct, not electronic. Rant over!
dewittehd Posted March 2, 2011 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2011 The LEICA M9 ‘Titanium’ is constructed exclusively with premium quality materials. For instance, all visible metal elements of the camera body are made from solid titanium, a particularly light but extremely strong and durable metal that can only be manufactured with special tools.................................. So much for cosmetics :-) Better read the press release first next time. Jean
