Now I'll have to wait for saturday when I hope to put it on its natural companion, the R8.. it should be since 1987 (given the 3426xxx s/n) and the ratio lens / overall diameter is also nice to look at. I know how you must feel, I just got mine today, a heavily worn and torn specimen but with clean glass and mechanically in good working order.
