phancj Posted September 11, 2010 Share #21 Â Posted September 11, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) CJ - I like the 2nd one. Colors in the first one are a bit muted. Looks like you are having too much fun with your camera with fishes, dogs and what-not. The birds however, are still missing. I expect to see at least one bird picture from you. Â Hey Ravinj, there are 3 altogether. The very first from raw with PP(on a separate post before this with the fishes and sunrise), the second OOC jpeg, the third OOC jpeg with a little PP(these 2 together later). The interesting comparison should be 1st vs the 3rd, that may be telling if there are differences between raw and jpeg. The second is OOC so no PP at all. Given the size I am not sure if that is meaningful, but the jpegs from this cam is already very good, raw better by a bit. Â I dunno, could it be that birds are so intelligent they heard the X1 bashers talk about slow AF, thinking I wouldnt be able to capture them so they make themselves scarce?? I will try to get a bird ok?? Could it be you are a bird whisperer so you are getting ALL the bird shots?
Advertisement Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Hi phancj, Take a look here "Preset Film" Setting. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
prk60091 Posted September 11, 2010 Share #22 Â Posted September 11, 2010 I agree the 1st reposted photo is mute the second is more alive. As for the cropping I think you cut the fence 'a little' to close imwould give just 'a little more' breathing room on the top, then u have an image worthy of hanging

Here's the first from Raw with PP reposted with slight crop.  I love these sessions, chance to learn!  thanks guys. Keep it coming... Welcome, dear visitor!
