Today the most famous symbol of Belgrade. Made by Croat sculptor Ivan Mestrovic, to celebrate Serb victories in Balkan wars 1913 and WWI 1918. A figure of naked man, handling the sword in right, and an eagle in left hand. Firstly, it was supposed to be placed in the center city square of Terazije, but at that time lady puritans strongly protested because they thought it would be inappropriate. So, the city authorities had no other way, but to put it in the park, on high pillar, and in opposite direction.    Reverse angle.  Stairs.
