rob_x2004 Posted August 23, 2010 Share #1 Posted August 23, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Feel free to tell me it is a bad idea. Does anyone have a good chart/s to slip into a book so that I have a screen shot and as published to compare/adjust in future?
Advertisement Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Hi rob_x2004, Take a look here Colour and greyscale swatch into photo book.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ecar Posted August 29, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 29, 2010 Already thought about that a while ago and did some investigation. Unfortunately, I ended up figuring out that most photobook printing companies may use different printers, sometimes at different locations (and, while they may not readily admit to it, sometimes even subcontract some jobs in peak periods...). In consequence, irrespective of one's "smart calibration" efforts, the output is likely to be inconsistent from one book to another. But I'd be happy to know if this works for others (and which printing service they use).
