Didn't expect Leica to have so bad quality control, but maybe they don't care so much about the Summarit line?

But, now they won't know about your situation, which may or may not be isolated (unless they read this). I wouldn't tell them now that you've taken to the file.:) But, congrats on the fix.

If the OP got swarf in the lens, Solms are likely to know about it at some stage ;)

Summarits are subject to the same QC as every other Leica lens and made by the same people on the same benches.

I'm happy to hear that you've fixed the problem. I admire your bravery in taking a file to the lens mount. I'd be far too scared to do that myself.

As I suggested earlier, I think it was probably a case of your lens being at one extreme of the tolerance range, and your camera being at the other. Combine this with a strong springing on the M8.2 and it could be quite a tight fit.

Now you can start to enjoy your camera without having to build extra muscles in your arm. :)

I think also it was a case of tolerance at opposite end. I had some german guns with the same problem. The gun smith had to file of some metal to make the barrel fit into the receiver without breaking your hands. I like german quality but sometimes it's to much.

Now I have to clean the sensor, expect there are a lot of dust now then I had the lens of many times.

Thank you everyone for your support!

No swarf in the lens, held it down and used a blower to get rid of the little amount of swarf.

that's a problem. the lens connection shouldn't be nearly that tight. also, you should be able to eliminate pretty all of your dust spots. but it may take special tools. i use some things from visible dust, including the artic butterly, zeeion blower, magnifier, sensor clean, smear away, and applicators. great stuff, but not cheap.
