Ferry Zievinger Posted July 24, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I almost only use the 1 Point focus method when taking pictures, it gives me a very good result. My question; is there another way to "activate" the focus point so that is can be moved across the screen other than to hold the Delete/Focus button pressed down? I find that this would be useful and a bit quicker if it a "one touch" activation instead of a 2 second "hold down".
Advertisement Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Hi Ferry Zievinger, Take a look here Is there another way?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
F1Addict Posted July 24, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2010 I have poured over the book and the method you described is the only way to move the box. I know exactly what you mean -- I use the same focus method and find it frustrating sometimes to have to hold the button for 2 seconds to move my focus point. Oh well. I still love my X1! ChiILX1 Posted July 25, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 25, 2010 Spot mode, half shutter, then frame is very fast for me.
Ferry Zievinger Posted July 25, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted July 25, 2010 Thank for your reply but, I mend the activating of the selection area of focus. It seems the only way to that is as described above.
h00ligan Posted July 26, 2010 Share #5 Posted July 26, 2010 I don't think there's another way - and it is cumbersome.
