tiep Posted July 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just bought leica M6 for some weeks on ebay. but the range view finder eyespiece is not clear and have some dust. I compared it with M4-p and the results is that view finder's M4-P is clearer. So, anyone can help to show me the way to make it clean and brighter tks
Advertisement Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Hi tiep, Take a look here View finder windown on leica M6. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hoppyman Posted July 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2010 Tiep, I suggest firstly that you clean the outside glass as you would a lens. It is very common to put fingermarks on there too. If the front glass is badly scratched it could require a repair that could be expensive. I recommend that you show your camera to a good repairman if possible. Someone with Leica experience is the best of course. You may need to have the camera disassembled and the viewfinder professionally cleaned. It is not a job that is normally practical for the user to do for themselves. If you could indicate where you live another Forum member may be able to suggest someone to look at your camera. Customer Service in Solms of course can perform any work required, if that is necessary. You can find their contact details under the Service Tab on their web page Leica Camera AG - Photography. Good luck.
