MachineGun Posted July 20, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I just bought a used M3 from a dealer, who claimed that he had done a CLA on it just one month ago. I asked if I would receive a certificate that was dated showing that the CLA was done. He said no certificate. I just received the camera today and i noticed that the L seal is not broken and is still intact. Is it posible to do a CLA without breaking that seal? Thanks MachineGun

Riccis Posted July 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2010 Is it posible to do a CLA without breaking that seal? If it's the original L seal, no... Cheers,
roguewave Posted July 20, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2010 I doubt is't the original seal. Most of the people that service Leica M's will place a "new" seal on a body after they CLA. Is the camera working well? What a fine camera, my favorite of all time. Good luck & post often.
