john_r_smith Posted January 3, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Folks I have been reading the thread on scanning with great interest. Marc says that he is getting good results printing on Crain's Museo Silver Rag paper, and this is something I would like to try. However, using an HP dye-based inkset (the photo-grey 100 cartridge) I have had trouble whenever I have tried to use any of the new fibre base inkjet papers, which all seem to be optimised for Epson pigment inks. What happens is that the prints always have a horrible pink or magenta cast, even though the 100 inks are just three greys and I have actually pulled the colour cartridge out of the printer. Has anyone tried Museo Silver Rag on an HP dye inkset? And did it work? John
