simonpg Posted January 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wonderd if M8 users have a view on any likelihood that CV may clean up on lens sales to M8 owners - especially wide angle lenses? So, my question of M8 users is: do you think the M8 sensor is so good that it enables you to differentiate a CV lens against a Leica lens from the images made? Most of us have previously bought expensive Leica optics in the past because we can appreciate a difference in the images made with our film M cameras (well in some specific cases at least). So given CV's reputation for some excellnt lenses and very affordble and quite capable wide angle lenses, will you be adding any number of CV lenses (especially wider angle lenses) to your new M8 kit rather than shell out for more expensive Leica optics?
