I need help. How do I size an image in Lightroom 3 so that I can upload to this site.I know that the image needs to be about 950 x 600 size. I used to use Photoshop CS2 and save for the web. But surley I must be able to do this in Lightroom. All help would be wonderful.

Max length 960pixels. (If it's a portrait shot, keep it to around 800 to prevent the need for lots of people to scroll)

Max file size is <290kb

Use sRGB, so that non colour complaint browsers (such as the Microsoft one) can display the colours on the screen properly

This post got me thinking. I've used the Dr Brown plug-in in Photoshop to resize for the forum but since I've got CS5 I've noticed a deterioration of quality in my posted picture (mainly sharpness). I've just tried Andy's suggestion of using Lightroom so would like to see how the forum software handles the results to compare. First is Dr Brown's plug-in, second Lightroom export

Hmm! Not sure there's any difference! Maybe its my eyesight that's the problem!!!:mad:

LR one looks fractionally more vibrant on the web page, but dragged on to pasteboard and opened full screen size in CS3 they are indistinguishable.
