Guest Chris M Posted June 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I'm experiencing a weird glitch. After installing LR3 onto my MBP/INTEL multi monitors (running SNL 10.6.4) I can't drag LR3 over to my bigger monitor?? LR3 will only open up on the MBP , all of my other pro apps let me open up and drag it over to the larger monitor, whats wrong? chris m.

stunsworth Posted June 18, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2010 Mac or PC? With the Mac version you can drag the main window - not the menu bar - to the other screen and then maximise it.
Guest Chris M Posted June 18, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 18, 2010 No I can't, Mac Book Pro ie; MBP, thats my issue, I can not drag the window over, are you using a Mac/ with OS Snow leopard 10.6.4? and LR3, it won't drag over:mad: Might be a bug from Apples latest update a couple of days ago. chris m. stunsworth Posted June 18, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 18, 2010 Yes, I'm using the update issued today. I've just checked and I can move the main window from screen to screen. Have you tried using the 'grab handle' on the bottom right of the window to make it a lot smaller and see if you can drag the window across once that's been done - if that works you can enlarge it again when it's on the target monitor. bman Posted June 19, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 19, 2010 Is that MBP with the i7 processor? cause I saw that the update was 600+MB, whereas the update for my other Core2Duo MBP, iMac and mini was only 300+MB. I heard that there is an issue with the graphic driver for the new i7. Sorry if this info is not relevant to your problem Chris, cause I don't have an external monitor attached to my MBP now, but I will try it on (i have an HP monitor on my other MBP core2) if your problem is not resolved. Guest Chris M Posted June 22, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 22, 2010 OK, nothing has worked here, why?? because you first have to set up the two monitors under the (window menu) in the menu bar, and that is based on how your set up is in system preferences. Adobe couldn't even figure it out (what a joke) after spending the better half of the day with technical support for LR3. Only after going through everything on the menu bar and choosing each item and then doing all of its options did I figure it out, WOW!! I hope this helps others who may experience this weird aberration. chris m.
