Best way to Publish to the Web on a Mac

I have a MacBook Pro and Aperture. I want to showcase my pictures but am overwhelmed with options:

1) Publish with the Mobile Me button (downgrades quality of images)

2) Flickr button (also seems to downgrade images)

3) iWeb

4) Aperture Web Journal

5) Aperture Web Page

Which way is going to allow for the closest to full-resolution detailed views? Which do you use? I am attempting to publish a Aperture Web Page right now but the format gets messed up and the images all go to the right side of the page. Thanks for your help.

One word: Zenfolio.

copy that :)

I use Zenfolio and user ApertureToZenfolio for upload (usually at 50% size, if they are not intended to be printed).

works like a charm, quality is excellent. Zenfolio is really a top of the line gallery service.

The latest version of iWeb is a massive improvement over earlier versions. I use it for my gallery on my own hosted space.

There's a link in my signature and you're welcome to take a look.

Thanks everyone!

I downloaded the Zen Folio plugin and installed it in the right place, but I don't know how it works from there in Aperture (I can't even find it in Aperture). All help is appreciated.

I also published this using Aperture WebJournal. For some reason it doesn't work on my GF's iMac but it does on my MacBook Pro. Let me know what you think thanks!

I've used zenfolio for years and have been very happy.

The only thing they have done which annoys me, is to make the slideshow into 'full screen'. I usually upload prints at 1,000 wide which was great when the slideshow was 100%, but since they've made it full-screen it does degrade the quality a little.

Just have to post with a larger resolution images in future.
