Hugo, welcome. For what's it's worth, your dealer does have an extremly good reputation amongst the European members that I have spoken with.

I also said that I tried a card formated on another M9 but for the same result.

Besides how can you format a card in a camera that doesn't detect the card, and therefore does not allow you to select the format option on the menu ?

 

I am indeed patient, but also curious :D

 

It seems you have done everything you can be expected to do. I hope the problem is resolved quickly for you.

So as promised, I got my new M9 today, 2 days after I returned the faulty one.

 

This one works as it should, and the shop has been kind enough to offer me a free 16GB card for the inconvenience, which is always appreciated !

 

I am very happy with how everything has been handled by Ivor at Red Dot Cameras, and how quickly he reacted to my misfortune.

 

I am also quite relieved I will have it for the birth of my first child, who is due by the end of next week :)

This is a great result for you, Hugo. I'm not surprised to read another positive report on your dealer either as Ivor has a great reputation.

Thanks for following up and reporting the outcome once you posted on the problem. Now shoot that camera a lot and enjoy.

New camera and new baby, all in the one week! I hear the joy from here. Congratulation, now and at the end of the week. Shoot straight and don't shake when combining them.
