Black and silver

Hi all! New to Leica, new to the Forum.

So my first question is how many of you use black bodies with silver lenses or the other way round?

This is obviously a personal choice and as such you will find a broad diversity of thought. Chrome lenses on black bodies seem to generate the most debate. Of course, there is no effect on real photography, although even here you will find those claiming the 'stealth factor' with all black.

 

Whatever works. And don't even start with bags and straps and....

I've always preferred pre-war Black and Nickel

Silver body, silver lenses and then silver body, black lens. Not fond of the black body silver lens look.

I use any old lenses I have handy on any old bodies I have handy. It is not the outside finish that takes the pictures.
