elmoslate Posted June 1, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 1, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings! I'm heading to Tokyo the last week of July for 10 days of R&R. Can anyone recommend any second hand camera shops? I've been to BIC (a great store), but hoping to get some good used deals on lenses this trip. Domo arigato! StS Posted June 1, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 1, 2010 ヨドバシAkiba【Yodobashi-Akiba】 Directly at the central exit (left, to the taxis) of the JR Akihabara station. If you like sushi, you might like to try this restaurant in the same building: http://www.yodobashi-akiba.com/restaurant/restaurant_mawa.html Stefan

Guest maddoc2003jp Posted June 2, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 2, 2010 I live in Japan and buy all my Leica stuff from outside of Japan, (US) because it is mostly overpriced here ... The big stores,Yodobashi and Biccamera, are not really sources for Leica but any electronic gadget available. It is better to search for some shops in Shinjuku, for example MAP camera. There are also some shops in Ginza district (Leica itself, with a nice exhibition space in the second floor) but they are more expensive. BTW, Tokyo in July can be very hot and humid, having a drying bag for the camera / lenses is advisable. Have a nice trip and enjoy Tokyo !
