pgk Posted May 27, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have in front of me a 60mm Macro-Elmarit-R which appears to only have a third cam. I want to use it on a Bellows R and also on a 14158-1 tube for greater than 1:1 photography. However the mount is slightly different and it won't mount on either of these. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how it may be possible to use it?

wildlightphoto Posted May 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2010 A repair technician can modify the front flange of the bellows or extension tube to fit R-only lenses. It's a simple modification and not expensive.
pgk Posted May 28, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted May 28, 2010 Thanks Doug I'd started wondering whether this might be possible and the simplest option myself after looking very carefully at the bayonets yesterday evening - if I had one of the14158-1 female bayonets milled out it will probably solve all my problems. Off to the machine shop then.
