Knomad Posted May 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm showing some work created with Leica's in Chicago, with opening receptions on the evenings of May 29 and June 5. If any Leicaphiles happen to be in the area, please stop by and say hello? Details are at :: Gallery Provocateur:: (18+ for tasteful nudity) if it hasn't already been moved from upcoming to current exhibits it will be soon. The exhibit runs through August, and the gallery is on the near northwest side and close to an elevated train (blue line, between downtown and O'Hare Airport) stop. It's an opportunity to see 17x22 inch prints originating from an M8 right next to a 16x20 inch print from an M6, digital prints and conventional silver-based prints, and I'll be happy to talk shop with anyone who can make it... I'll be present at both receptions There's some excellent work by other photographers and painters included in the show as well, although to the best of my knowledge I'm the only one of the eight using a Leica. The May 29 reception doubles as a book release party for "f-eleven, volume 2" which includes work by 19 photographers. There are a handful of Leica images in that book, mostly street photography, and some of those will be shown on a big screen during the reception.
