CV 15mm M Mount - Slim or Reg. IR Cut Filter?

Hi All,

 

I want to buy one of the M-mount Voigtlander 15mm/4.5 lenses. According to its specifications, a 52mm filter is required. My question to those of you who may own this lens is whether a "slim" IR cut filter is required to avoid vignetting? Or can one purchase a regular (overall filter mount thickness) IR cut filter.

 

Looks like Marumi makes 52mm regular IR cut filters, but B&W makes a slim 52mm IR cut.

get the Marumi, it's practically the same as the leica in optical result. See my other post here. No need for the slim one.

You can use regular filter since M8 is cropped sensor. I use B+W regular 486 on mine.

I think that I will order two 52mm IR Cut filters, one for the CV 15mm/4.5 and one for a CV 50mm/1.5 Nokton that I purchased as both take 52mm filters.
