holmes Posted May 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have wanted a Leica or Ernst marked case. Inside it has two levels. There seem to be enough straps in each compartment to hold the item in place. This comes with a shoulder strap. So that it might not be obvious to thieves. Anyway it is due to be delivered on the 24th. What I'm asking other forum members who have used a hard case, I'd like some feedback, pros and cons. Not just "all hard cases are crap". I have a number of cases, some dating back to 1986. Over the past year I purchased two different shoulder strap cases. They are National Explorer; one is the standard shoulder bag, the other is the rucksack style, divided into two sections. I also bought a small pouch to hang on each bag. Light meter was my first thought. They are well made, heavy waterproof canvas and comfortable to carry. They took ideas from their photographers and tried to incorporate as many as possible. Thanks.
