Advertisement Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hi marban, Take a look here a close to perfect case. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted May 12, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 12, 2010 I have one of those cases with the Mini Zoom still inside. I checked it out with my X1 and found it to be quite a tight fit with the grip attached; easier without. Furthermore, it is very difficult to close the zip with the camera strap attached. Worse still, I have to remove the viewfinder which normally lives on my camera permanently. So my verdict is that it is a good idea for the basic camera but not practical if you regularly keep the grip and viewfinder attached.
marban Posted May 12, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted May 12, 2010 sure -- i'm not using any of the accessories and a minimalistic strap from a p&s. nevertheless it offers basic protection and minimum bulk.
wda Posted May 13, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 13, 2010 Marban, I agree. I thought after that with a small wrist strap it would be perfect. It is a beautifully made leather case for a Leica.
