mike.ong Posted May 11, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Guys, I was wondering which lens do you prefer. I'm getting an M6 body .72, I would like to get your opinion which is the better lens for it. I know that Ultron is wider, which will maximize the framelines of the M6 (28mm). Nokton has an extra stop.. I must say that the Nokton 35/1.2 ASPH is just heavy for me that's why I'm residing to these lenses. I'm a bit concern with the glass though. Does any of the 2 more superior to the other except for the focal length and f stop? Thanks guys! Still learning a lot here. Mike
Advertisement Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Hi mike.ong, Take a look here Ultron 28/2 or Nokton 35/1.4 SC. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Xmas Posted May 11, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 11, 2010 Hi Mike You may get more information brousing the digital fora, they tend to be more picky, they can do focus shift tests in coffee shops.. Both lenses are pretty new so they will be owned by early adapters. I use the 28mm f/1.9 CV LTM and the 35mm f/1.7 CV LTM when I want fast. not had any problems with either. antistatic Posted May 11, 2010 Share #3 Posted May 11, 2010 I'm sure both lenses would do a good job. I have the Ultron but not the Nokton. It is amazing value and a good performer. Having said that, I would go for 35mm if it was my only lens.
