ho_co Posted May 4, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Could the STEMAR be used on the M9, or does it protrude too deeply into the body? Seems to me that in postprocessing it should be relatively easy to make a decent stereo pair for two-eyed viewing. If 3D continues to be as big as it is at the moment, the STEMAR might find a new life. Any ideas?
Advertisement Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Hi ho_co, Take a look here STEMAR usable on M9?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
giordano Posted May 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2010 I've no idea - but if it is, the fast, vertical shutter will get you better results from moving subjects.
ho_co Posted May 5, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted May 5, 2010 Gee, John, I hadn't thought of that! Wow. Just one more reason to get an M9, eh? Midland knew stereo was here to stay!
giordano Posted May 5, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 5, 2010 Maybe worth asking in the Collectors & Historica section?
ho_co Posted May 6, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted May 6, 2010 John, thanks. I'm usually ridiculed when I ask something over there, thought it might find some interest here in a quieter area. Sigh.
