I'd like to try my M8 with a remot flash.

Which cheap flash would you recommend me.

It only for fun, so it shouldn be toooo expensive.

Old Mecablitz 45 units are often available at low prices. They have plenty of power and a good spread of light. Any of them except the early 45-CT1s work fine with the M8.

My favourite is the 45-CL4 which has two flash tubes (one that tilts and swivels and a little one that can be used for direct fill-in light) and a good range of auto and manual settings. You don't get TTL, which isn't as much of a loss with a digital camera as it would be with film.

one more question:

Does the Sigma sigma EF 530 also work?

I'd like to use it as remote flash with the nikon AS-15?

Does that work?!!?!

thx a lot guys!
