clinchico Posted April 16, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 16, 2010 If I have to choose, it would have to be #2. It is a gorgeous b&w image with its excellent tonal quality, sharpness and composition. Herb
tmldds Posted April 16, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 16, 2010 Gorgeous shots, Louis. Can you give me some suggestions on a good setup for macro? Tri.
biglouis Posted April 17, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted April 17, 2010 Herb and Tri, thanks for the comments. I find it hard to choose between the colour and b&w photograph. The lens has done a great job of sharpness, contrast and detail. Mind you, I did actually shoot it thinking of how it would look in colour. Tri, I am not a macro-expert. If you look through some of the photographs in this section you'll see some real expertise. In this case I am using a micro 4/3rds camera with a panasonic produced lens, under license from Leica, which is a 1:1 macro lens with image stablisation. Real pros use bellows and manual lenses and even flash to capture their subjects. I just wait for the right kind of light...
